I’m attending a branch campus of the University of Pittsburgh. I’ll be graduating at the end of this month with my undergrad in general biology.
My school doesn’t have any entomology courses, but I was lucky enough to get in contact with an entomologist at another university in PA, and she’s been sort of a mentor for me (set me up with the identification project most of this blog has been about, and a summer job sampling/IDing/caringfor caterpillars).
I’ll be taking a year off (Another summer of caterpillar work for my CU, taking the GREs, waiting for my bf to graduate) before going to gradschool. I hope to get my masters before trying for a pHD, with the hopes that I’ll be able to get into a good pHD program (I doubt I could right now with my 3.3GPA and no-name college degree).
Sorry, I’m sure that’s much more than you care to read, haha.
