A closeup of a “Sweet Pea Sawfly” from work. Before we get things IDed we give our cats nicknames based on morphotype. I work primarily with three girls, and they all hate sawflies. Interestingly, they aslo tend to name things something-MAN. So I’ve been taking care to give sawflies cute names, and end descriptors with LADY. :)
